Feels lightweight and cheap Chinese build. Not at all like the Japanese bikes from back in the day.

If this had been a review of any Royal Enfield, there would have been loads of comments about the 3000 mile service interval. Haven't seen one mentioning this here! Nice enough bike, but I'd be servicing this almost 4 times a year!

If Honda just did the same with their NX500, what a shame they missed the chance and CFMoto delivered what the riders wanted.

.....What do they think next, u say ? - well, they have already applied for a auto-gear box, so ACC + auto gear.... Will be good. Pity you didn't show - how the front light is - in the dark, but it's probably not very bad. Had MT07 before - even there was OK....

Too weak engine. Good off-road bike (no more power needed) but there's no way it will be comfortable to ride on paved roads - have to shift gears each second.

It’s a nice bike I love the coloure ,what if Royal Enfield put a 450 cc motor in that how would that go or would it spoil it

Great review as always I'm struggling between this and the x cape 650 and thoughts on which to choose ?

I have a 2007 Tmax 500 with over 51,000 miles and I'm currently using it as a learner bike, it's fun but had a go on instructors CBF600 and it was much better in the bends and roundabouts and better suspension and changing gears was really cool, I enjoyed that a lot. The tmax is grossly over priced in my opinion and if someone is looking for an automatic bike they might think a scooter is the only choice but the Honda NC750x in my opinion is a far better bike, much more economical and much more power and it can be got with DCT auto transmission and it needs no maintenance unlike the tmax CVT system.

Halcyon green. Is this a good color for this motorcycle? Halcyon gray is nice, but no longer available. Halcyon black is a bit boring.

Having owned a chinese bike I know they are really good bikes and would not hesitate in buying one.

Simply love your reviews Mark and bought the Zontes 125 U1 based on your review of that , it's been brilliant over the last 3 years . BUT I have a question that others looking in this cc range may also ask - you have also recently reviewed the Voge DS525X and I am a little torn between that and this CF Moto MT450 . Would the extra 50cc of the Voge be better cruising at 70mph on the highway rather than perhaps pushing the revs more on the MT450 ? I would not use either off road so not concerned about that comparison where I expect the 450 would win by design anyway . Your thoughts please on the motorway question. Thanks.

Ive got the NK which I love, but at 62 years old I'd be tempted with the MT as I like the comfort of this seat over the NK

On an American channel [sorry can't recall] he fitted an after market slip on exhaust from Yohsimura to his ss model [cost 500 USD..ouch] and was giggling about how much better it sounded , looked the bomb too.

First time to know this brand, Voge. Looks pretty nice at first sight. You said Loncin? which means they are one of the Chinese automakers? I used to live in Chongqing, China around the year of 2000. Working for Japan and China joint capital company for motorcycle industry for a while. Dramatically changed qualities.

Watching from Japan. Living very close to Suzuka. So if this bike was imported as a JDM, you are such a lucky person. Even in Japan many many years never seen such nice and almost original condition of NS.

Like it,would never buy brand new tho.Will give it a year or two

Of all the bike reviews I watch Mark is the best in my opinion, thorough and straight forward, I wish I had sat my test in'83 with my Yamaha DT LC 125, I would certainly consider this rebel 500 if I get an A2 licence which would do me 💪🏻👌🏻🙏🏼

Interesting test but what's it like in the really rough stuff off road? Love the green colour and the Yamaha Tenere styling at a realistic price.

How was the comfort? My Tracer 7 is fantastic. Screen aside. My test rides of Tracer 9gt+'s have been ok. Screen worse than the 7 if you ask me. As I have multiple bikes I've never been seduced enough by the Tracer 9 to make me sell ( although, as an ex cp3 owner I now how easy it is to get fanny struck with that engine ) IF i'm going to go bigger than the Tracer 7 then this looks the most likely candidate - although please tell me the screen was better than the 9 as I'm also looking at a Scrambler XC!
